Stage of region and NORD 55°
The newly appointed Swedish ambassador Hans Wallmark and Johan Wessmann from the Øresund Institute hosted a networking meeting at the Swedish Embassy for organizations and stakeholders in Danish-Swedish cooperation. The meeting was centered around the report 'Stage of Region,' where Lise Bach Hansen contributes with insights about the work with NORD55.
During the event, she, and Stig Kirk Ørskov had the opportunity to present the initiative to the audience.

“Is there such a thing as a Nordic ‘we’?” This was the question posed as Hilde Sandvik moderated a conversation between Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Stig Kirk Ørskov, and Lisa Don Santos. The discussion underscored the increasing significance of Nordic cooperation in addressing numerous shared societal challenges in the years ahead. KULTURNord 55° – new Nordic initiative formed in Copenhagen
On Tuesday, a new Nordic initiative named Nord 55° was launched in JP/Politikens Hus in Copenhagen with Norwegian Amedia and Swedish Bonnier News as media partners, as well as the Nordic Culture Foundation and Have Kommunikation as partners.
NORD 55 presented to the Swedish Minister for Culture
During the visit of Parisa Liljestrand, Sweden’s Minister for Culture, to Denmark on 5 March 2024, Lise Bach Hansen was asked to present NORD 55° to the minister and her delegation, including political advisor Anders Rönmark. It took place at the Swedish Embassy in Copenhagen in the presence of Ambassador Charlotte Wrangberg, Johan Wessmann from the Øresund Institute and press officer Wivi-Anne Hult

She aims to enhance a Nordic consciousness
The knowledge gaps between the Nordic countries must be filled. Biblioteksbladet has met Lise Bach Hansen who, in addition to her job at the Royal Library in Copenhagen, is one of the initiators of a new Nordic collaboration that they hope will lead to a breakthrough for a stronger Nordic consciousness.
